Obituary of Harold Woodrow Rogers

Harold Woodrow Rogers, Sr. age 77, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Born in Southern Pines, North Carolina. In his early years Harold held many positions before fully retiring. He worked with The Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, The Bridgeport Brass Company, The Chestnut Hill Buss Company as a school bus driver, Jenkins Valves, as well as Raybestos. He is the son of the Late Fletcher C. Rogers and the late Estelle McNair. He is survived by his beloved wife Earline S. Rogers; his sons Harold Rogers, Jr. (Vickie), and Anthony Rogers (Rosa); his daughters Diane Hoffman (Thomas), and Brenda J. Rogers Steele; his siblings Fletcher Rogers, Otis Rogers, Annette Davis, and Edna J. Rogers; his cherished eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Friends may attend calling hours on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Wednesday, December 9, 2015 starting with a 10:00 a.m service at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Easton Cemetery, Easton, CT.
