Obituary of Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez, age 78, entered into eternal peaceful life on October 14, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Pablo Martinez whom she was married to for over fifty eight years. Maria was born in Cuba to the late Santiago Garcia and the late Juana Padilla. She is the loving mother of Jose Martinez (Linda Martinez); and the adoring grandmother of Lorenzo Martinez and Lissette Martinez; she is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends whom will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend Calling Hours on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 6-8 p.m at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 East Washington Ave. Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been scheduled for Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
