Obituary of Marilyn Rivas

Marilyn Rivas, age 50, of Bridgeport passed away into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born in San Francisco California to Jose Rivas and Maria Santiago Moreno but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. Besides her parents she is survived by her husband Armindo Martinez Jr.; her sons Jose Rivas and Manuel DeJesus; Her daughter Alexandra DeJesus; her brothers Luis R. Rivas Diaz, Jerry Perez, Angel Ortiz and Sammy Ortiz; Her sisters Irma M. Rivas and Maria DeLourdes Ortiz; ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( Peaceful Light Funeral Home ), 426 E.
