Obituary of Pedro P. Tosado

Pedro P. Tosado, age 82, currently of Bridgeport passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 while surrounded by his loving family. Pedro was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico to the late Luis Rosa Riquelme and the late Delfina Tosado. In his early years Pedro served in United States ARMY. He retired as a Bridgeport Police Officer after 27 years of service. He leaves behind his beloved wife Ana Tosado knowing that one day they will reunite. His memory will live on through his cherished daughters Ana Tosado-Bernier, Dalia Tosado, Vivian Tosado, Elba Tosado, and Rosa Arroyo; his sons Pedro E. Tosado, Pedro L. Tosado, Hector Tosado, and Ariel Vasquez; his sisters Norma Rosa, Blanca Nieve Rosa, Gloria Rosa, and Maria Luisa Rosa; twenty one grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss him dearly. In addition to his parents he is also predeceased by his siblings Israel Perez, Luis Rosa and Ana Perez. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, August 23, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2015 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Service of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
