Obituary of Maria D. Gonzalez

Maria D. Gonzalez, age 75, currently of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on August 15, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Guatemala to the late Federico Faena Broccoli and the late Saturnina Madrid. The family relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the beloved wife of German Gonzalez. In addition to her husband she is also survived by her sons Julio Madrid and Cristobal Madrid; her daughters Evelyn Madrid and Ana Luna D'Onofrio (Anthony, Jr.); her sister Leonor Contreras; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, Auguts 19, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. at Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT. Funeral Services have been schedule for Thursday, August 20, 2015 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Church of Christ, 240 Hamilton St, Bridgeport, CT. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
