Obituary of Emilia Garcia DeJesus

Emilia Garcia DeJesus, age 94, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful glorious presence of the Lord on August 5, 2015 in her home while surrounded by her family. Emilia was born in Salinas, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Jose Garcia and the late Anselma DeJesus; She is survived by two daughters Carmen M. Otero and Ruth A. Cintron; 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren whom will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 7, 2015 beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Church, and interment in Park Cemetery will follow right after the mass.
