Acompañó su sentimientos en estos momentos tan triste de su vida. La muerte es uno de los golpes más duro de la vida. Jesus nos dio la hermosa esperanza de la resurreccion. En Juan 5 : 28,29 " No se maravillen porque viene la hora en que todos los que están en las tumbas oirán su voz y saldrán a una resurreccion ". En un futuro Laura estará llena de vida. I want to offer my deepest and sorrowful condolences to Laura's family on behalf of my family and the families of the MOM Special Olympics Swim Team. We've been graced and blessed to have known Laura. She was a kindhearted and warm young lady. She was one of several volunteers to our Special Olympics Swim Team. To Laura's family please know that during Laura's time in this world she made a real difference in peoples lives.She was so pleasant and helpful to the many swimmers that needed special understanding and attention and she genuinely liked everyone and she enjoyed giving help to everyone. She was a giver. Please find comfort in knowing that as a team of families and volunteers we've all been touched by knowing Laura and we are all bound together with the Gonzalez family by her loss. It is our duty to remember the example that Laura lived by. She was a giver and if we conduct our lives as she did, this world would be a more loving place.

To the Gonzalez Pinilla Family,
My deepest condolences to all of you. Laura was a wonderful young lady. I would see her daily in the Media Center at school - she was always dedicated to her studies. Knowing that she was kindhearted and capable , I asked her if she would be interested in participating as a coach for the special Olympic swim team. She and her friends Barbara, Alyssa, and Camilla all happily volunteered to work with our special group.
She faithfully came to the practices and swam in our unified relay teams. Laura always was kind, understanding and encouraging of all our swimmers. She was a wonderful role model and we will miss her tremendously.
My prayers are with you all at this time.

Laura was such a wonderful person. She was a partner / coach on our Special Olympics Swim Team in Milford. Her relay team won a Silver medal just this past weekend.
A brilliant life ended all too soon. We will miss her spirit, but remember her always.
