Obituary of Miriam Berrios

Miriam Lycette Berrios, age 56, beloved daughter of the Carmen Berrios and the late Jose A. Berrios, of Bridgeport, passed away into the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York, New York; Miriam was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident; in addition to her mother she is survived by her son Marcos A. Ramos III (Rosana DeMaggio) of Bridgeport; her daughter Yael Reyes (Dionisio Gonzalez) of Bridgeport; her sisters Yvonne Berrios and Madeline Berrios of Bridgeport; her former spouse and close friend Marcos Ramos; her grandchildren Alexis Gonzalez, Nyla Sage Gonzalez, and Mia Dionis Gonzalez; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. As someone stated, the moment she parted this world it became a sad day in this world, although a glorious day in heaven as she reunites with her dad, grandmother and other family members who passed before her. She will be missed by all. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, July 21, 2012 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST.
