Obituary of Pedro Ocasio Flores

Pedro Ocasio, age 61, of Bridgeport passed away into the Presence of the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Waterbury Hospital, Waterbury, CT surrounded by his loving family. Pedro was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico son of the late Aguedo Ocasio and Juana Flores before relocating to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the beloved husband of Silvia Ocasio. In addition to his wife he is also survived by his sons Pedro Luis Ocasio, Jose A. Ocasio, Danny Ocasio, Xavier Ocasio, Pedro A. Ocasio, and George Ocasio; his brothers Ismael Ocasio, Hector Ocasio, and Jesus Ocasio; his sisters Julita Flores, Margarita Ocasio, Lydia Ocasio, Ester Ocasio, Maria Ocasio, and Carmen Ocasio; his nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He is predeceased by his brother Jose A. Ocasio. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. CT. Funeral services have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2015 beginning at 8:30 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT.
