I am Maria Francescas daughter and hold only the fondest of memories of Edwin as do my son Marco & daughter Sophia they looked at Edwin as a grandfather and were so excited when he came over almost 4 and half years ago to make part of their swing set into a club house. My son has a best friend named Matthew who is always at my home Edwin gave him the nick name chipmunk because he had chubby cheeks. Their faces would light up when Edwin came over, he was a soft spoken, gentle, kind man who from what my mother told me was also a loving father to his own children i know he was a big Yankees fan and he also loved my cheesecake so when i knew he would be coming for the holidays i made sure to make one. But i would have to say my greatest memory of Edwin is the bond and friendship he shared with my mother who means the world to me when ever they came to my home you could feel that words can never express the sadness we and his family are feeling right now. Edwin your beautiful spirit will be always forever missed and never forgotten you will be kept forever in our hearts God Bless
