Obituary of Leonor Sanchez

Leonor Sanchez, age 88, currently of Hamden passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Ario P. Falcon and the late Alejandrina Lugo; she is the beloved wife of the late Brigido Sanchez; Leonor loved the Lord and lived for the Lord in eveything she did. She is survived by her children, Juan Ramon Sanchez, Carmen DiFederico, Ramonita Luna, Ismael Sanchez, Enrique Sanchez, and Flora Sanchez; her 17 grandchildren, Ivelssie Sanchez, Angelique Cuevas Morales, Ismael Sanehz, Jr., Javier Sanchez, Benjamin Cuevas, Jr., Omal Velez, Jackie Rodriguez, Jenith DiFederico, Giovanni Sanchez, Michelle DiFederico, Ricardo Sanchez, Rebeca Sanchez, Enrique Sanchez, Jr., Maelis Sanchez, Erica Sanchez, Andrew E. Sanchez, Kelvin Santiago, Ricardo Ruiz, Daniel Ruiz, and Yajaira Ruiz; her 20 great grandchildren Alexis Cuevas, Amairani Cuevas, Axel Cuevas, Selena Livramento, April Serrano, Nathaniel Sanchez, Nathaniel Omal Sanchez, Jayden Rodriugez, Caleb Rodriguez, Christian Montalvo, Derek Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Fabian Sanchez, Gabriel Morales, Damaris Cuevas and Xavier Cuevas; her brothers Juan and Miguel Falcon and a host of nieces, with special Mention of Elvira Figueroa, Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews with Special Mention of Luis Figueroa and great grand nieces and nephews with special Mention of Joel Figueroa; In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her sons the late Brigido Sanchez, Jr. and Miguel Sanchez. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church.
