Obituary of Carmen Lopez Torres

Carmen Lopez Torres, age 93, currently of Bridgeport but originally from Barranquitas, Puerto Rico passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Saturday, July 7, 2012 in St. Vincent's Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family. Carmen is the daughter of the late Pedro Lopez and the late Luz Melitina Torres; She is survived by her sons Pablo Nuñez and his wife Gladys Nuñez and Jorge Colon; Her daughters Carmen Colon, Hilda Nuñez, Rosa Berrios, Maria Berrios, Elsa Berrios and Iris Nuñez; her loving caretakers Nydia and Roger Martinez; 44 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, 37 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren; Truly this Matriarch of such an amazing family will be sadly missed by all; She was predeceased by her husband the Late Pablo Nunez and her son the Late Angel R. Nunez; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 9, 2012 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E.
