Obituary of Ernesto Colon Esquilin

Ernesto Colon Esquilin, age 66, currently of New Britain, CT, passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on March 7, 2015 in Hartford Hospital. Ernesto was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico but most recently resided in New Britain, CT; Ernesto was a talented musician whom blessed so many with his guitar. Nothing was beyond his reach and his contagious personality was one who lit up a room when he arrived. Ernesto is the son of the late Ernesto Colon and the late Luisa Esquilin; He is the beloved husband of Amarilis Colon whom he married 34 years ago. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons Ernesto Colon, Joel Colon, Jonathan Colon and Ernesto Colon, Jr.; one daughter Amrailis Colon; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will sadly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 6:00 P.M.
