Obituary of Gloria Thomas

Gloria M. Thomas, age 37 currently of Shelton, passed into the eternal peaceful rest with the Lord on Monday, June 22, 009 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born in NYC but most recently resided in Shelton; She is the daughter of Julio Rivera and Gloria Rivera both of Shelton, CT; in addition to her parents she is survived by her sons Thomas Ortiz and William Thomas; daughter Samantha Ortiz; Brothers Marcus Rivera, Jose Cotto, Sebastian Rivera, and Julio Rivera; sisters Penelope Rivera, Myrna Borges, Venus Rivera, Crystal Rivera, Julia Rivera, Jocelyn Delgado and Jacqueline Delgado; one grandaughter Janessa Santana and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2009 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad ), followed by interment in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
