Villanueva Sr.-Pablo Villanueva Sr. "Mr. Softee", age 68 of Bridgeport passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2008 in West River Health Care Center, Milford, CT. he is the husband of the late Virginia Amelia Villanueva; The Son of the late Dionisio and the late Julia Villanueva. Pablo was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. Recently Pablo retired from the former U.S. Surgical Corporation in North Haven, CT. For many years he owned and operated Mr. Softee Ice Cream Truck in the Father Panik area of Bridgeport; He is survived by his son Pablo Villanueva Jr. of Bridgeport; daughters Sandra Villanueva of Bridgeport and Jacqueline Villanueva of East Haven, CT. His brother Ruben Villanueva of Bridgeport; sister Maria L. Acevedo of Bridgeport; Grandchildren Renee Rojas, Jr., Marlene Rojas, Whitney N. Lopez, Jacqueline Lopez, & Natasha Villanueva; great grandchildren Tiana Rojas, Skylah Rojas, Giovanni X. Rojas and Justin W. Moore. and other relatives and friends. he will be sadly missed. Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2008 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (LA FUNERARIA DE NUESTRA COMUNIDAD), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. Mary''s Church. interment will follow in St. Michael''s Cemetery, Stratford, CT. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
