Obituary of Kathleen Vila

Katheleen Vila, of Bridgeport passed away into a peaceful rest with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Kathleen was a lovely woman who served her community in whatever way she could. She was the She was a commissioner and current chairperson for the Bridgeport Housing Authority; She was the president of the Fireside Tenant Association; former president of the Marina Village Apartment and Father Panik Tenants associationl; She is survived by her sons John A. Vila Jr. and his wife Carmen of Stratford, CT and Joseph Colon of Naugatuck, CT; three Grandchildren Victor DelVila, Agapito Rodriguez and Jorge Rodriguez; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends; Kathleen was truly an exemplary citizen of our city wanting nothing but a better and brighter future for all, she will be sadly missed. Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, January 29, 2010 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad), 426 E.
