Obituary of Maria Vazquez

Maria "Minche" Velez Vazquez, age 99, of Bridgeport passed into a peaceful rest suddenly on Sunday, July 19, 2009 in her home. Maria was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico before moving into the Stamford area where she lived for many years prior to moving to Bridgeport since 2001. She is the daughter of the late Agustin Velez and the late Concepcion Toledo. She is survived by her sons Bernardino, Jose Luis, Antonio, Santiago, & Adolfo; daughters Margarita and Minerva, and a host of grand children, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren relatives and friends who will sorely miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final disposition will take place in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico.
