Obituary of Antonia Velazquez

Antonia Velazquez, age 64, of Bridgeport passed into the eternal rest of the Lord on Sunday, June 29, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Antonia was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. she is the wife of Juan P. Velazquez whom she married years ago. In addition to her husband she is survived by her six sons William, Jose L., Manuel, Christian, Alexander and John Alexis Torres; her four daughters Alma M. Rodriguez, Migdalia Torres, Wanda Bangy and Veronica Torres; twenty four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de Nuestra Comunidad), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 6-8 P.M.at the Funeral Home.
