Obituary of Anastacio Velazquez

Velazquez-Anastacio "PAISAN" Velazquez, age 73 of Bridgeport, passed into peaceful eternal rest on Friday, October 20, 2006 in Northbridge Healthcare Center. Anastacio was born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was employed by the Norwalk Dye and Finishing for 32 years then he moved to ACME Shear where he then retired; He is survived by his sons William Velazquez and his wife Carmen of Bridgeport and Eriberto Velazquez and his wife Migdalia of Derby; his daughter Vicki Hurley and her husband Teddy of West Haven, CT; his eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren and friends whom will dearly miss him. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. Mary''s Church; interment will follow in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 23, 2006 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
