Obituary of Wilfredo Vega

VEGA Wilfredo Vega Sr., Age 67, of Bridgeport, passsed into peaceful rest on Monday, July 10, 2006 at St. Vincent''s Medical Center. Wilfredo was born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, before moving to Bridgeport many years ago. He was the beloved husband of Carmen Vega of Bridgeport. Besides his wife, he is survived by his three sons, Wilfredo Vega Jr, Fernando Vega and Wilfredo Vega Jr.; His four daugthers Marisol, Margarita, Maria and Kimberly Vega; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2006 beginning at 9 a.m. directly at St.Luke''s Episcopal Church, 594 Kossuth Street, Bridgeport, followed by interment in Park Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday ( TODAY) July 12, 2006 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, from 7 to 9 p.m.
