Obituary of John Vasquez

Vasquez-John Vasquez, age 39, of Bridgeport passed into a peaceful rest on Monday, February 12, 2007 in ST. Vincent''s Medical Center. John was a native of Bronx, New York but moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of Monserrate and Vicente Rodriguez of Bridgeport; He was employed by the City of Bridgeport as a Custodian for many years and just recently appointed a Custodian 4 position. Along to his parents he is survived by his beloved wife Maria Ortiz of Bridgeport; his children Christan Vasquez, Jonathan Ortiz and Yamira Ortiz all of Bridgeport; his brothers Edwin Vasquez And Mike Vasquez both of Seymour, CT and Vincent Rodriguez of Ft. Meyer’s, Florida; his sisters Lillian Vasquez of Cape Coral, Florida, Yvette Vasquez of Bronx, New York and Rosalie Rodriguez; on granddaughter C’erra Dupree Beard and nieces, nephews relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by Interment in Lakeview Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
