Julia A. Torres, 81 currently of Trumbull, CT, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 in Maefair Nursing Facility. She was born Wednesday, August 25, 1926 in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico, Daughter of the late Pablo Ayala and the late Paulina Vazquez before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago.She was a member of St. Mary''s Church for many years. She is the widow of the late Juan Torres Pintado;Survivors include a Son, Juan Torres, of TX; Daughters, Gloria Torres-Rivera of Bridgeport, CT, Evelyn Torres, of Virginia, Daughter, Miriam Ayala of Puerto Rico, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandhcildren and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.Funeral services will begin at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, December 7, 2007 at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. Bridgeport at St. Mary''s Church, Friday, December 7, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. with Father Mathew Bernelli officiating.Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Friends will be received 7-9 P.M., Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the at the Funeral Home.
