Obituary of Luis Torres

Luis Cesar Torres, age 60 of Bridgeport beloved son of the late Jose Bermudez and the late Alicia Bermudez, passed into the gates of Eternal Life on Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Luis was a native of Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. Luis served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was recipient of various awards including two purple hearts. He is survived by his biological father Angel Torres; his son Luis C. Torres Jr. of Bridgeport and his daughter Maria Morales Torres also of Bridgeport; Brothers Jose and Joel Bermudez, and Angel Torres; Sisters Karen Bermudez & Wanda & Brenda Torres; four grandchildren; one niece & 2 nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sorely miss him. he was predeceased by his brothers Edwin Torres; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Interment will take place in Mt.
