Obituary of Mary Somohano

Print E-mail Somohano-Mary Marie Berrios Somohano "Puchin", age 64 of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful arms of the Lord on August 15, 2006. Mary was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico but became a Bridgeport resident for over 40 years. Mary is the daughter of the Late Joselino Berrios and Carmen D. Perez of Los Angeles, California; she was a graduate of Housatonic Community-Technical College, where she obtained an Associates Degree in Sociology. She also had attended the University of bridgeport to further her education; Along to her mother she is survived by her son Richard Santos of Bridgeport; her daughters Betty Santos Merced of Shelton, Annette Santos of Bridgeport; her stepdaughter Karen Somohano of Puerto Rico; her sisters Maria Aleja Berrios Crespo fo Arizona, Olga Maria Berrios Figueroa of Los Angeles, California and Yolanda Berrios of Los Angeles California; nine Grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will sadly miss her; Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2006 beginning at 9:00 A.M. Directly at the Iglesia Cristiana Carismatica Renacer, 118 Burr CT, Bridgeport, CT followed by intermetn in Lakeview Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., ;
