Obituary of Jose Silva

Jose A. Silva, age 55, of Bridgeport passed into peaceful rest on Monday, March 9, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Jose is the son of the late Jose Silva and the Late Carmen L. Santos; he was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico but moved into the Bridgeport Area many years ago. Jose was a Veteran of The United States Army. He is survived by his sons Jose A. Silva of Bridgeport and Fernando Silva of Cayey, Puerto Rico; one daughter Meryliana Silva of Bridgeport; one brother Efrain Silva of Stratford; sisters Norma Bonilla, Maria Duran, Lydia Miranda and Celenia Gonzalez; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, March 12, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Funeral service in the funeral home at 12:00 P.M.
