Obituary of Maria Serrano

Maria Serrano, age 100, of Bridgeport, passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Monday, August 13, 2007 in Northbridge Healthcare Center. She was born in Anasco, Puerto Rico but moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the widow of the late Juan Serrano; She is survived by her son Jose L. "BABALU" Silva of Bridgeport; daughter Claribel Morales and Carmin Sanchez of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave. , Bridgeport followed by interment in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calilng hours on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
