Obituary of Gloria Gonzalez

Santana Gonzalez-Gloria Ester Santana Gonzalez, age 76 of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2006 in ST. Vincent''s Medical Center; Gloria was a native of San Juan, Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area almost 50 years ago. Her Great sense of humor, generous heart & wonderful cooking will never be forgotten! She is survived by her sons Victor Vazquez , Carlos Vazquez, Juan Santana, Edgar Gonzalez, David Gonzalez, Salvador Gonzalez & Hector Gonzalez; Daughters Jenny Santana, Anna Cecilia Cruz and Leonora Gonzalez; twenty one grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; her brother William Marcano; two sisters Carmen Hernandez and Raquel (Cookie) Cotto; and a host of other relatives and friends whom will miss her dearly; Sh e was predeceased by her son William Vazquez; Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 beginning at 11:30 A.M. at the Gospel Light Community Church, 222 Charles Street, Bridgeport followed by interment in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, DIRECTLY AT THE CHURCH, from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
