Obituary of Angel Sanchez

Angel M. Sanchez, age 72, beloved husband of over 33 years of Elba Sanchez, entered into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Angel was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico but moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was retired from the Bristol Squibbs Company where he was employed for many years. In addition to his wife he is survived by his son Luis Antonio Villanueva, Mario Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, and Richard Rodriguez; his daughters Miriam Perez, Carmen Cortez, Virginia Alicea and Margie Alicea; 17 grandchilden and ten great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends who will miss him. He was predeceased by his son Edward Rodriguez; Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by interment in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
