Obituary of Mercedes Juan

SAN JUAN Mercedes San Juan, age 73, of Bridgeport, passed into peaceful rest on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center. Mercedes was born in Cuba, but moved to the United States since 1971. She is the daughter of the late Jose San Juan and the late Maria C. Martinez. She is survived by her faithful friends, Jose A. Rivera, Angel Rivera, Milagros Rivera and Maria Rivera all of Bridgeport, and other friends whom will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 27, 2007 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and interment in Lakeview Cemetery; friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, July 26, 2007 from 7 to 9 p.m. At the funeral home.
