Obituary of Luz Rosado

Luz M. Rosado, age 80, of Bridgeport, entered into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2008 in her home while surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of the late Juan Torres and the late Bienvenida Torres; Born in Manati, Puerto Rico she had relocated to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the wife of the late Salvador Rosado; She is survived by her Son Ramon Rosado of Hamden, CT; her daughters Ramonita Mena, Maria Milagros Mena, Maria Julia Echevarria, Gladys Tirado, Carmen Perez,& Luz M. Rosado; her sister Ana Rivera of Puerto Rico; twenty grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her; Funeral services will take place on Saturday, beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in ST. Mary''s Church. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
