Matilde Nieves, age 78, currently of Shelton, CT passed away into the Glorious presence of the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 in Hewitt Memorial Healthcare Center, Shelton, CT; Matilde was born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico prior to relocating to Ct to reside with her daughter; she is the daughter of the late Urbano Figueroa and the late Petra Santana; She is survived by her son Ronald Nieves of Grand Terrace, California and one daughter Carmen Calder of Shelton, CT; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
