Obituary of Julio Ortiz

Julio E. Rivera Ortiz, age 53, entered into peaceful rest on Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Bridgeport Hospital. Julio was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico before moving to the Bridgeport area 25 years ago. His last employment was at the Village Market in Wilton, CT where he had been employed for approximately 10 total years. He is the son of the late Julio Rivera and Aida Iris Ortiz of Ponce,Puerto Rico; Along to his mother he is survived by his faithful fiance whom was with him for the past 14 years Nereida Hernandez of Bridgeport; sons Carlos E. Rivera of Orlando, Florida & Erick J. Rivera of Marlton, New Jersey; daughter Evelyn J. Rivera of Orlando, Florida; His former spouse Enidza Medina; his brother Anderson Rivera of Bridgeport; sister Evelyn M. Rivera of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; and Janette I. Rivera Ortiz of Ponce, Puerto Rico; The Hernandez family who for the past 14 years treated him as their own; three grandchildren Aaron J. Rivera, Caleb B. Rivera, Jocelyn M. Rivera and many other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his brother Edilberto Rivera Sr.; A Mass will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 at Blessed Sacrament Church at 5:00 P.M. Please sign our online registerbook.
