Obituary of Eladio Rivera

Rivera-Eladio Rivera, age 76, of Bridgeport passed into the peaceful arms of the Lord on Thursday, March 29, 2007 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center; Eladio was born in Moca Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area over 53 years ago. He is the husband of his beloved wife of 52 years Carmen Rivera of Bridgeport; Everyone knew him for he great cookin gand lets not mention the sound of Maracas that would come from his hands at an instant in each celebration and or holiday; Along to his wife he is survived by his sonse Nelson Rivera, Larry Rivera, Edwin Rivera Jimmy Rivera Eladio Rivera Jr. and David Rivera; his daughter Linda Rivera; 16 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss him. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary''s Church; Interment will follow in Park Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 2, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
