Obituary of Carmen Rivera

Carmen Rivera, age 67 of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 7, 2009 in her home. Carmen was born in Ciales, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the beloved wife of Roberto Fontana. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Luis Lopez, Anselmo Lopez, and Jorge Lopez; Daughters Nieve Margarita Lopez and Madgalena Lopez; brother Pedro Ortiz; Sisters Rosa Ortiz, & Maria Luis Ortiz; many grandchildren with special mention of Natalia Vasallo whom she raised as her own; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. she was predeceased by her parents the Late Juan Rivera and the late Maria Luis Otero and one brother the late Leopoldo Rivera; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 5-8 P.M.
