Every time i was at Mama's house she would always want to feed me .. she said i ate like a bird and was too skinny.. i would try so hard to finish everything she gave me and when i would finally finish shed come with more. when i gained weight she says oh you fat, now you look healthy before too skinny look sick(lol).when i had Juliana the 1st place we took her straight from the hospital was to Mama's house for her to see the baby, she was so happy she just held on to her until we went home. When i had Eduardito we would bring the kids to see her and no matter the amount of pain she was in she always managed to pick them up and hold on to them. We would get nervous and try and help her and she would slap our hands away and say she got them.She couldnt walk but always wanted us to leave the kids with her. When we got custody of Nikki and brought the kids to see her she asked whos that girl? We said thats Nikki and Mama says; Oh i didnt recognize her because shes behaving LoL. I always loved how she always said what came to her mind. You can count on a good laugh visiting her. Seeing how much pain she was in and the struggles with her health the past couple years I am glad she is not suffering anymore. I wish my kids had more time to spend with their Great Grandmother and had a chance to know her before she was sick. RIP Mama although we know you are in a better place we wish you were here with us. We miss you and love you. you will always be in our hearts.. xoxo

Mama Rodriguez was my second mom. I've been all over the world and never found a better cup of coffee than hers. And could that woman fry a blackfish! She didn't like me too much when she first met me 40-some years ago... But when she figured out that Me & Eddy couldn't be separated... I guess she figured she'd best adopt me and try to civilize me. She did a good job... I worried more about what Ma Rodriguez thought about me than my own mom. If she yelled at me in Spanish... I knew I'd gotten away with something... But if she threw in a few words in English... I knew I was in serious trouble. She was one sweet lady and I'm going to miss her so, so much. But Eddy, Soakie, Wanda, David and Mr. Rodriquez... Know this one thing for sure... You may have lost a wife and mother in this life... But you have gained a mighty, mighty guardian angel to watch over you for the remainder of this life and who will be the first to greet you into the next life.

To the Rodriguez Family & Friends, My condolences to the Rodriguez Family~Socorro,Wanda,David,Eduardo and Mr Rodriguez) and to the Grandchildren and Great grandchildren family on their loss. She was a wonderful mother/madre, Grandmother/Abuela,Great grandmother/Bisbuela, Aunt/Titi and friend to all. I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs Rodriguez in many ways as the Great grandmother to my Great nieces and nephew an I seen her love for them, as a grandmother and grandmother in law to my nephew and his wife~ she adored them. As a mother to David, Eduardo , Socorro and Wanda~She loved and cherished them. As a grandmother to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved having dinner with them on Sundays (Wanda Thank you for doing that for the children)It will provide them with cherished memories of their Great Grandmother and Grandmother.She was adored by her husband. My thoughts and prayers are with the Whole Family on their loss. To Yolanda, Aisha, Cathy and to David's children, she loved you all and loved you spending time with her. You all helped her in so many ways and I know she is smiling down on all of you. May you all know she is comfortable and pain free now,She will be missed by everyone that knew her.
