Obituary of Jose Ramos

Ramos-Jose A. Ramos, age 56 of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Nelly Ayala Ortiz, passed away peacefully in Bridgeport Hospital on Saturday, February 7, 2009 while surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the Late Juan M. Ramos and Felicita Rodriguez of Newburgh, New York; He was a talented landscaper with the gifts that would transform regular houses into beautiful homes. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by former wife Luz Carrion; his sons Jose A. Ramos, Jose Carrion, Daniel Carrion, Roberto Alicea and Johnny Villafane; Daughters Marisol Ramos, Maria Carrion, Carmencita Alicea, Miriam Alicea and Carmen Carter; 25 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends; he will be sadly missed by all. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6-9 P.M. At the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; a Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. Directly at St. Agustine’s Cathedral; Final Disposition will take place on Friday, February 12, 2009 at 1:00 P.M.
