Obituary of Fermina Ramos
Ramos-Fermina Ramos, âBi-Biâ, age 74 of Bridgeport, entered into rest on Monday, July 30, 2007, in Bridgeport Hospital while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area many years ago. Fermina was well known for her cooking, regardless of the cuisine, she made it good! As a cook, wife, mother and Grandmother & friend, she was unequaled. Her countless times of dancing Salsa as she cooked for her family will never be forgotten; She is the beloved wife of Osvaldo Ramos of Bridgeport for over 40 years; Along to her husband she is survived by her sons Jose Santiago of Naugatuck, CT and Osvaldo Ramos II of Mamaroneck, New York; her daughter Lourdes Lopez of Bridgeport, eight Grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends whom will dearly miss her love for life, dancing and again her fenomenal cooking. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 8:00 A.M. the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maryâs Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
