Obituary of Eva Rivera
Eva Maria Perez-Rivera, age 69 Beloved wife of Jose Rivera, passed away in her home while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 13, 2008. Eva was born in Orocovis, Puerto Rico but moved to the Bridgeport area many years ago. She is the daughter of the Late Hipolito Perez and the Late Angela Perez; She had been employed many years at Maefair Nursing home before her retirement. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Hector Rodriguez; her daughters Eva Colon and Myriam Rodriguez of Bridgeport; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2008 beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 East Washington Ave., Bridgeport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Church at 10:00 A.M. ; interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport; Friends are invited to attend Calling hours on Friday, (TODAY) August 15, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
