Obituary of Jose Padilla

Jose T. Padilla, age 54, of Bridgeport passed into eternal peaceful rest on Monday, December 22, 2008, in Milford Hospital. He is the son of the late Tomas Padilla and Marcelina Roman. He was born in Camuy, Puerto Rico but moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He was known by all those who loved him as "Junior". Junior gave his life to the Lord 35 Years ago in the Good Shepherd Christian Church and was a faithful member throughout the years. He graduated from the Good Shepherd Bible Institute and was an avid fan of baseball. Junior was a respectful and loving son and brother; He is survived by his wife Olga Padilla; brother Israel Padilla, his sisters Rosa Padilla "Ruty", Maria Padilla and Maritza Padilla and a host of nephews and Nieces and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. Funeraria Luz de Paz (La Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad) has been entrusted by the Padilla's family with the arrangements to conduct the services for their Jose. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday December 29, 2008 at the Good Shepherd Christian Church located at 725 Hancock Ave, Bridgeport. Final disposition will be in Park Cemetery on December 30, 2008 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
