Obituary of Jose Ortiz

Jose A. Ortiz,"Cheo", age 59, of Bridgeport passed into the eternal peaceful rest of the Lord on Saturday, January 17, 2009 in St. Vincent''s Medical Center; Jose was born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico before moving into the Bridgeport area over 40 years ago. He is the son of the Late Benilde Ortiz and the late Candida Ortiz; He is the father of two sons Jose Carlos Ortiz and David Ortiz, both of Bridgeport; In addition to his sons he is survived by five brothers Carlos Ortiz, Hector Ortiz, Anibal Ortiz and Julio Ortiz; Sisters Francis Ortiz, Carmen Albaran, Maria Deliz, Maribel Rivera and Doris Brito; Grandchildren Avery, Shanalee, Alajah, Justin David, and Cameron Ortiz; and other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. He was predeceased by his sister Myrna Ortiz; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (la Funeraria de NUESTRA comunidad), 426 E.
