Obituary of Jorge Muñiz

Jorge L. Muñiz, age 55, of Ansonia, CT passed into peaceful rest on Thursday, February 28, 2008 in Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York, New York; Jorge was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but moved into the Bridgeport area from an early age and resided in bridgeport most of his life. He is the son of Cipriano Muñiz and Margarita Muñiz of Bridgeport; In addition to his parents he is survived by his beloved wife of almost 20 years Myrna Muñiz of Ansonia, CT; His son Diego Torrens of Naugatuck, CT; Odette Edgeworth of Naugatuck, CT; Brother Raphael Muñiz of Bridgeport; sisters Nancy Prieto of Stratford and Evelyn Muñiz of Bridgeport; Grandchildren Alexander Torrens and Braydon Edwards; nephews John Prieto III and Nicholas Prieto; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 beginning at 9:00 A.M. Directly at St. Mary’s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Interment will take place on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. Directly at Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, March 3, 2008 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, 426 E.
