Obituary of Raphael Medina

Raphael Medina, age 59, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Bridgeport Hospital. Raphael was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area since the early age of 5. He is the son of the late Santos Medina and the late Josefina Medina. Raphael loved Seaside Park and almost daily would go in the morning and spend time there. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 38 years Madeline Williams Medina of Bridgeport; his sons Rafael Medina Jr., Miguel A. Medina, and August Medina; his daughter Tasha M. Medina and all are from Bridgeport; Brothers Pedro & Manuel Medina; sisters Justina Carrasquillo and Anastacia Gonzalez; 15 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will truly miss him. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Benito Medina; Friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 1-4 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( la Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
