Obituary of Cristobal Lozada

Cristobal (Toby) Lozada Ortiz, age 84, entered into rest on February 3, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital while in the presence of his loving family. He was born in July 30, 1926 in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Upon Marrying the love of his life, he migrated from Puerto Rico and settled in Bridgeport; He was a resident of the Greater Bridgeport Area for 58 years. Toby was an employee of Tilo Roofing for 26 years and Westinghouse Bryant Electric for 19 years. His family cherishes the memory of him every Saturday Playing the radio while cleaning the house; He also enjoyed his trips to Seaside Park; He was a devoted Member of Good Shepherd Christian Church of Bridgeport; His loving nature and smile will truly be missed by his family. He is survived by his cherished wife of 61 years Lydia Ortiz; His Memory will live in his five children Miriam L. Perez and her husband Monserrate of Bridgeport, Priscilla Stevens and her husband Robert of Milford, John Ortiz and his wife is Diane of Stratford, CT, Margaret Acosta and her husband Noel of Stratford, Stephanie Lozada-Vazquez and her husband Nelson of Milford; twelve Grandchildren Tiffany (Negrita) Lozada Buonicore, Isaiah Perez, Noel Acosta, Jr, Rachel (Ranchera) Lozada-Santiago, David Perez, Priscilla Soto, Nicole (Tata) Lozada, Robert James Stevens, Jonathan (Pollito) Cruz, Hannah ( Pain in the neck) Cruz, Alexander Stevens and Nelson (Chicken Chit) Vazquez. twelve great grandchildren Kimberly Acosta, Christian Perez, Adam Santiago, Jasmine Soto, Mikhail Acosta, Angelina Perez, Giovanni Perez, John "fingerboy" Santiago, Marc Soto, Lorelei Buonicore, Jaiden Perez and Dominick Perez; He is also survived by three brothers Julio lozada of Puerto Rico, Ralph Lozada of Puerto Rico, & Enrique Lozada; He was predeceased two brothers the late Lulo Lozada and Juan Lozada and two sisters the late Inez Bonilla and Felicita Lozada; Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, February 7, 2011 beginning at 12:00 P.M. at the Good Shepherd Christian Church, 725 Hancock Avenue, Bridgeport followed by interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford, CT; Friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until end of Services at the church; please sign our online register book where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and even video clips and is found ONLY at www.luzdepaz.com.
