My memory with AJ was when we went to Beardsley Elementary School together! We had sooooooooooo much fun together! We would go prank people and laugh at every little thing. But most importantly, he was the greatest friend anyone can every have! I love him and miss him dearly and I always will. I cry every time I think about him and how we used to share the greatest laughs together. Its sad to think that he's not with us anymore but I know he is watching over us smiling and wants us to know not to worry because he is in a better place! He is gone but never will be forgotten! My memories of A.J will be heart felt always. Flashes of A.J and Richie sitting in front of the house tossing a baseball, laughing or arguing about something silly, riding and fixing their bikes that they said they found, talking with Julie about everything, eating a hot dog "ketchup only" with Richie and John in the backyard and then disappearing for hours.I'll remember the day we went to N.Y.C when we arrived i told A.J that he would have to hold me or Julies hand so he wouldn't get lost in the big crowd. Of course, he grabbed Julies hand with a huge smile and twinkle in his eyes. We had such a nice day. Julie and Richie brought a turtle for A.J from the Bronx to surprise and cheer him. I was the one who was surprised that the turtle survived the long hours of shopping in large crowds, subway rides and the train ride home.So many memories to cherish and we are grateful for that. He will be loved and missed by us all. Our deepest condolences to Wilma and family. May the good lord give you comfort and support at this difficult time.NENE.

Thank you sooooo much to all of AJ's friends, both classmates and teachers, who gathered together at Beardsley School on Friday to plant two apple trees in AJ's memory.
