Obituary of Jose Linares

Jose Linares Jr. "Eddie"- age 25 of Bridgeport passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 28, 2010. Jose was born in New York City but had moved to the Bridgeport area 15 years ago. Eddie loved cars, video games and spending time with his family . He was known as an avid Giants and Yankees fan. Everyone knew how much he loved his ancestral homeland of the Dominican Republic. Truly a vibrant young man who will be dearly missed. He is survived by his parents Jose Linares and Elena Linares of Bridgeport; Paternal grandmother Dolores Checo; sisters Giselle Linares and Denise Linares; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Funeral services have been scheduled for Monday, February 1, 2010 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( la Funeraria de NUESTRA Comunidad), 426 E. Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT followed by interment in Lakeview Cemetery; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
