Obituary of Daniel Gomez

Daniel O. Gomez, age 62, of Bridgeport passed away suddenly on October 13, 2010 in his home. Daniel was born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico but had moved into the Bridgeport area many years ago. He is the son of the late Linos Gomez and the late Eustaquia Ortiz; Daniel was a gifted landscaper and had been employed for many years at the Geiger's Centers; Daniel is survived by his children Daniel Gomez, Jr. of Seymour, Jose M. Gomez of Bridgeport, and Daniel L. Gomez of California; daughters Magdalena Gomez Jones of Bridgeport, Marisol Gomez of Bridgeport and Sylvia Gomez of California; brothers Anastacio Gomez, Pedro Luis Gomez, Jose A. Gomez and Raul Gomez; Sisters Marie Estrella Gomez, Luisa Gomez, Julia Gomez, Carmen Gomez, Migdalia Gomez, & Elena Gomez; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, October 15, 2010 from 6-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport, CT; Final disposition will be private at the convenience of the family.
