Obituary of Angel Garcia

Angel L. Garcia, age 79 of New York, New York, passed away into the peaceful rest of the Lord on Thursday, December 9, 2010 in New York Downtown Hospital, New York, New York; Angel was born in Morovis, Puerto Rico but had relocated to the New York area over 40 years ago. He had been employed at Empire Robe for over 25 years prior to his retirement in 1992. Angel was an avid Dominos player and was a force to be reckoned with. Angel leaves to cherish his memory his long time companion Raquel de Garcia; son Angelo L. Garcia Jr. ; Daughters Migdalia (Maggie) Cuevas, and Edna Villanueva; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. he was predeceased by his parents Antonio Garcia and Gloria M. Pagan D'Clet and his great grandson John McCready Jr.; Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo), 426 E.
