Obituary of Carmen Figueroa

Carmen I Figueroa, age 80, of Bridgeport passed away to the Gates of Heaven above on Friday, December 17, 2010 in CT Hospice, Branford, CT. Carmen was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico prior to moving into Bridgeport CT in the 1950’s. She is the daughter of the Late Valentin Gonzalez and the late Dorotea Torres; Carmen was a very loving homemaker who dedicated her life to making sure her family had everything they needed. She was the beloved wife of the late Francisco Figueroa. She is survived by her sons Edwin Figueroa, Jose Figueroa, Francisco Figueroa II, Frankie Figueroa, Roberto (Tito) Figueroa, Juan Figueroa; daughters Ruth Figueroa, Evelyn Vega, Carmen Miranda, Theresa Green and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers Juan Figueroa and Ramon Figueroa and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 .M at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ).
