Obituary of Hermelinda Fernandez

Hermelinda Fernandez, age 94, of Bridgeport passed away into the peaceful presence of the Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in Golden Hill Nursing Facility, Milford, CT; Hermelinda was born in Peru but had moved to the United States since 1967 with her family. Hermelinda was gracious, loving woman and the widow fo the late Juan Santos. Together they were the parents of two sons Marcos Fernandez and Luis Santos both of Florida; Daughters Maria Veti of North Haven and Lucy O. Ford of Bridgeport; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 5-8 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz ( La Funeraria de NUESTRO Pueblo ), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2010 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 30 Bonnie View Drive, Trumbull, CT followed by interment in Mt.
