Obituary of Rosa Escobar

Rosa Escobar, age 78, of Bridgeport passed away on April 14, 2011, in St. Vincent's Hospital. Rosa was born in Cuba and moved to The United States many years ago. She is the daughter of the late Cecilio Ojeda and the late Emilia Medina, and was the loveing wife of the late Manuel Escobar, which she shared a life long love with. She is survived by her son Jose Escobar and his wife Carmen Escobar, Grandchildren Jose Escobar JR. and Emily Escobar, Sisters Reinelda Ojeda of Cuba and Maria Estrella of Bridgeport, and Nieces Mayra Luna of Florida, Wanda Cruz of Florida, Carmen Julia Maestre of Florida, and Roman Petze of Florida, and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. Interment and a Graveside service will be held directly at Lakeview Cemetery, in Bridgeport CT on Monday April 18, 2011 at 10A.M.
